O Jaraguá é uma figura presente no Reisado e na brincadeira de Boi, folguedos da cultura popular brasileira. É um cavalo fantasma que "assombra" a brincadeira, correndo atrás das pessoas e encenando comê-las.
Possui a cabeça em madeira ou crânio de cavalo, gerando no abre-e-fecha da mandíbula um som percursivo, alto e marcado, acompanhando as loas da brincadeira.

The Jaraguá is a character from "Reisado" and the "Boi" plays, festivities of Brazilian popular culture. It's a phantom horse that "haunts" the play, chasing people and staging eating them.
It has a head made of wood or a horse skull, generating a percussive, loud, and marked sound with the opening and closing of the jaws, accompanying the chants of the play.
